Michal has over 20 years’ experience delivering internal audit and risk management services to a variety of clients. Prior to founding Aster Advisory, Michal has worked at EY and Pitcher Partners. At Pitcher Partners, Michal was a partner and executive director for 9 years and led the Risk and Procurement Advisory Division. Prior to beginning his professional services career, Michal worked in the technology engineering field. Michal possesses a mix of in-depth commercial, regulatory and assurance, risk management, entrepreneurial, IT systems and data analysis skills. This skillset allows him to consider issues from multiple perspectives and identify practical and innovative solutions. He has worked with organisations to considerably uplift maturity and drive efficiency through improved structures and effective utilisations of tools and technology. Michal holds degrees in Engineering, Business Administration, Risk Management and Entrepreneurship and Innovation and is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Engineers Australia and Risk Management Institute of Australasia. Michal has a love for the outdoors and our environment. He resides in the Greater Geelong region with his wife Mia and daughter Zara.
